Hello everyone, my name is Omar Quraishi. I’m a computer science major and I am in my second year of college right now. The reason I’m taking this class in the Fall 2024 semester instead of Spring 2023 is because my advisor messed up my schedule and now I am taking it a semester late, but it is what it is, I hope to have a great learning experience with you all this semester. I’ve always been an active kid, doing taekwondo since a young age and participating in sparring competitions whenever possible. I love the rush of dopamine that one feels in a sparring match, for me the feeling was unbeatable until recently. What could this possibly be, you ask? The only thing that I have been able to find that comes close to the euphoric feeling of a sparring match would be being able to find a solution to a coding problem and being able to implement said problem within my projects. These two things are the best feelings in the world, in my opinion of course. Some other miscellaneous things about me are that I can speak Hindi, Urdu, and English, although Hindi and Urdu are quite similar. I can read and write Arabic but can’t understand it or use it in conversational speech. I also have 2 cats that I love a lot, they both love to fight with each other but they also love eachother very much. I also have a weird obsession with colognes. I love collecting them, all types of them. That is all I have to say about myself, hope you guys enjoyed learning about me!
